The owner and the miller of Danek's mill was Danijel Posarić. The mill grinded wheat and processed pumpkin seeds into pumpkin seed oil. The seed processing service was used throughout Varaždin County, and the process took up to three days. While waiting, visitors gathered in a special room, sang, played cards and shared stories.

In the attic of the mill, there is still a small room where the owner lived. The owner actively participated in the process – he even hammered, or dressed, the grindstones made by a nearby blacksmith.

The grindstone dressing process was called klep. The first flour after processing was of poor quality and was often used for animal feed. The large wooden press for oil processing and the interior of the mill still bear witness to that time. The watermill stopped working in 1985.
