This mill was first owned by the Pust family, then by Ivan Čaklec, who restored it in 1949, and the last owner was Franjo Lončar. Grain was ground in this mill, and the family also lived there. From the courtyard side, you can see architectural traces that indicate its existence. After the cessation of operation of all the watermills in Ivanec, a period of construction works began, which completely changed the look of the former environment. Ivanec watermills represent an enigma in the construction of mills and the question of ownership because they were often subject to changes in construction and final appearance.
As the method of production and functioning of the watermills has never been determined in detail, they have become the subject of study by ethnographers, photographers and enthusiasts, and material evidence is especially important in this study of the appearance of the watermill, as well as the objects used.
