JOSIP AND ROZA SEVER'S MILL

JOSIP AND ROZA SEVER'S MILL

Josip and Roza Sever's watermill was entirely built of wood. On the side, you can see wooden remains of the groove through which the water was directed to the mill wheel, as well as the architectural traces that are parts of its foundation. The watermill stopped working in 1980. Regarding the movable material evidence, only two metal vessels, called measuring cups, remained. The measuring cups have the capacity of half a liter and one liter, they have a stamp applied on them, which is proof of the correct amount. All millers were paid for their work in kind, called ušur, and used metal containers for this.
