This watermill is also known as Žiga Melinski's mill, and its last owner was Izidor Friščić Pavlinjak. Wheat was grained here and transported by horse-drawn cart to the surrounding towns, including Jurketinec. The watermill worked from 1883 to 1985.
It was later leased to Vinko Friščić Pavlinjak, who bought it off between 1919 and 1920 and thus became the owner of the place. In the period from 1913 to 1919, the management of the watermill was taken over by his wife while the owner was in America. Over the years, the watermill was remodeled while retaining its original stone base and was expanded with brick in 1952.
Today, the watermill still retains its authentic appearance, although there are no written traces or photographs from the past. Josip Friščić Pavlinjak now takes care of the mill.
