This interesting sacred object was renovated in 2021, reviving the rich history and faith that is deeply rooted in this area. After many years of unfinished construction works and neglect, most of the work on the completion and decoration of the chapel of St. John the Baptist on the top of Ivančica was completed before St. John’s Day 2021.

Every year on June 24, a holy mass is held in honor of John the Baptist, better known as St. John’s Day. This ceremony gathers believers from all over the region who come to celebrate this special day and show their respect for St. John.

Here we can feel the peace and spiritual strength of this holy place, which makes it an ideal place for introspection, prayer, and meditation.
