The mill is also known as the mill of Žiga Melinski, and its last owner was Izidor Friščić Pavlinjak. The owners provided grain milling services and transport using horse-drawn wagons to Jurketinec and surrounding villages. The mill operated from 1883 to 1985. It was initially leased by Vinko Friščić Pavlinjak, who purchased it between 1919 and 1920, acquiring ownership rights. Between 1913 and 1919, the mill was managed by the owner's wife due to his departure to America. The mill was renovated over time, and traces of the original stone structure are still visible today, while the rest, made of brick, was added later in 1952. The mill has retained this architectural appearance to the present day. Unfortunately, no written records or photo documentation about the mill have survived.
Today, the building is cared for by Josip Friščić Pavlinjak.
