The Day of the Town of Ivanec is celebrated on June 24 in honor of St. John the Baptist and brings a multi-day celebration filled with various events. During this period, appropriate exhibitions, concerts, and various entertainment and sports events are held. A special ceremony is the awarding of plaques of the Town of Ivanec to individuals, companies and associations, at the ceremonial session of the Town Council and Town Administration.

A holy mass is traditionally held on the top of Mt. Ivančica in honor of St. John the Baptist, creating a special spiritual experience for believers and visitors. During the Days of the Town of Ivanec, visitors can enjoy the smell of the traditional "Ivanečki kotlić", a dish which you must try.
