An unusually beautiful environment has been gifted to the Ivanec region. Full of sources of drinking water, old watermills, wonderful churches and chapels, small hills that stretch over the long-gone world of hardworking miners and Knights Templar, Ivanec tells its story all the time. Let it win you over and tell one of the many secrets hidden in its gentle heart. And you will find this out best if you explore Mt. Ivančica - the highest mountain in Croatian Zagorje, if you cycle along our cycle routes that pass through the most photogenic landscapes you can imagine, or if you go for a walk around the area.

For daring adventurers, there is also paragliding - the possibility of flying with a view of a fairy-tale panorama and absorbing scenes that will forever be engraved in your soul. There are also "Černe Mlake", which, according to folk legends, are known as a meeting place for witches or "zletišće coprnic".

Today, "Černe Mlake" is a pleasant picnic spot bathed in the freshness of a dense forest and beautiful meadows, which you can reach by heading to Mt. Ivančica via the mountain road via Mrzljak. We don't know if witches still gather there, maybe they too have disappeared from our area like numerous mythological creatures, or maybe they are just sleeping somewhere in between worlds, waiting for searchers brave enough to follow in the footsteps of legends and explore this space.
